Exhaustion

Absolute, 100%, sheer exhaustion. That's what I feel right now. Since I went to the zoo, I've had a massive head cold. I'm so congested and miserable. I can't get over it. Now I'm developing a cough. I just feel miserable. I'm trying really hard not to take any medicine. My Dr said I can take Tylenol or Robitussin products. I just don't want to over do it. How does everybody else get through sickness during pregnancy?

Sorry girl, that does suck. I just didn't take anything. I sucked on cough drops, and had a humidifier, though. Does that help? oh, and massages from the hubby is always nice, too!

Maybe some hot chocolate, or something, too.

I have my wife pamper me. Get yours to. LOL I usually do the Theriflu in a cool water bottle. that helps me out a lot. Hope you feel better soon. Oh by the way get plenty of rest!

A warm wheat or rice bag on your chest or head helps a lot!

Tylenol works great! I would just take it to help me sleep when I was sick. I always get horriable colds during pregnancy.

I feel your pain. About a month ago I had a horrible cold too and it lasted for about 3-4 weeks. Sorry to tell you that. I took Tylenol and basically just felt like crud becuase I didn't want to take too much either. Sorry, I hope yours doesn't last that long.

I feel the same way when I am pregnant. I hate to take anything. I usually get colds when pregnant too. I would say take the tylenol if you need it, but lots of liquids, rest, and the wheat bag does help lot too. Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon!
