England!

Once in a while I get to accompany James on his trips for work. In April, I was able to go to Ohio with him and visit my family. It was so much fun.

Now, we are planning to get to go to ENGLAND!!!! James will be going for work. I'm going to keep him company. Sure it will be cold. I've got a lot to learn before I go. But I can't wait!!! I'm going to have a passport, and a stamp in it!!!!

Surgery . . .

Well, it's again been a little bit since I blogged. I have had the best of intentions to do so for about a week now. But, here's a bit of important information that I know some of my fellow bloggers are curious about. . .

James and I went to see Dr. Keyser again last Friday. It was great! He spent 45 minutes talking with us in his office answering any of our questions. I guess I had a misunderstanding of what's going on. My thyriod is a bit out of whack. Not bad enough to be causing any infertility problems though. The thyriod is still considered a goiter and causes pressure on my esophogas. What it boils down to is that the surgery is elective because of the goiter. I can chose to take it out or not. But Dr. Keyser won't do it until I can tell him that I'm completely uncomfortable. I'm so ok with that. So, we won't be doing surgery until I tell him that I can't stand it anymore. That's that. No worries for now. :)

Cheap Entertainment!

Once upon a time, Sophie made me laugh. Monday night, I came home from work with a clementine that I hadn't eaten. It was on the couch while I was taking care of other things with James. When I came back into the living room, I found Soph hunkered half way under the couch growling. "What the heck!" Yeah, clementine was missing. It was under the couch! She finally untucked herself from the couch and slapped it with her paw and gave it another growl! It has been absolutely hilarious.

James gave her another one yesterday. It ended up under the couch again and it stayed there until tonight. I pulled it out for her again and she has taken to eating it. Is fruit bad for dogs? She likes a lot of other fruits too. I hope she's ok. So far so good!

Happy Birthday, Sweetie!!

Today is my sweetheart's birthday. it was a pretty big bummer that he had to go to work and all. But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. He found himself a way to get an XBox 360 for his birthday. so I decided I would be sneaky and help out. I'm not a fan, but I don't think that James will get addicted to just sitting and playing. I'm grateful for that.

During my lunch break today, I went and picked up some wireless controllers for him. One needs these to play the thing! Yesterday, I got together with Ashlee and we got an awesome Birthday cake for him. (Daren and Ash got married in June. Their cake was awesome!! James liked it, so I ordered him one!) Ashlee brought it up, as she was already in SLC. I picked Daren up from work and we went to get James' favorite ice cream from Cold Stone. LOVELY!!!! James is very happy tonight and now we get to relax a little bit.

I love you, Baby!!!!

PS. Cake flavor was an amazing Key Lime with barvarian creme frosting and buttercream frosting!!!

Ice Cream!!

I've been able to locate a few of my great friends that I lost contact with. I found this on their blogs. I've never done anything like it and thought, why not? So here's me in an ice cream nutshell!

"You're as impulsive and impatient as a kid who can't wait for the cookies to come out of the oven. You treat life like a nonstop slumber party, and you like to keep things simple and silly. You scream at horror movies and laugh your butt off at comedies, but you probably can't sit still for a long, boring drama. To some people, you come across as immature, but so what? Your playful personality means you'll stay forever young."

I don't think I'm immature, but for some reason the nonstop slumber party is exactly how it feels in my house! Sometimes I wish it would stop but I guess it's fun!

The ironic thing is that this is James and my favorite flavor. There's nothing like a Charlie's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough shake to soothe your tastebuds!

Update. . .

How rude of me to open up then leave y'all hangin'. Sorry about that. I've again been super busy. But I need to get an update done. So here it is. I got my blood test done and it came back great. My levels are back to normal with the medication I'm on. At this point, surgery is optional. James and I have been doing some debating on whether or not to go ahead with it. After some good research and prayers on our behalf, we've decided to get it done and over with. I have another appointment on the 15th of August. I think the Dr. wants to go over everything with us and do another exam before surgery and pre-op stuff. We'll do pretty good though. We purchased Aflak insurance last year, so that's going to help out.
I'm so very grateful for the blessings I have in my life. We may not understand the rhyme or reason to all of this, but if I go forward with faith, all will be well. Thank you all my friends. I love you and am so grateful for your influence in my and our lives. You're the best and I couldn't ask for anything better!
